The Pirttikallio project is located approximately 12 km northwest of the center of Konnevesi in the Nollineva area and its immediate vicinity. The project’s overall expanse spans 1,100 hectares, with intentions to incorporate 9 wind turbines in the area. The total capacity of the project is estimated to be 77 MW.

WestWind Oy has submitted a zoning initiative for the Pirttikallio wind power farm to the municipality of Konnevesi. The Konnevesi municipality has indicated their intention to commence the processing of the initiative in October 2023.

Natura screening has been carried out in the project area, and the next steps will include the conduction of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Natura assessment. The EIA will comprehensively assess the project’s environmental impacts, while Natura assessment will focus on the project’s effects on nearby Natura areas.
